There are multiple considerations for vendor price variations. Vendors linked to this site will note same price, or a percentage premium below or above the listed price. Also vendors must be available year round as a franchise supervisor, or delivery service for the hours they post for special delivery orders -to be linked to this ordering site or notify the webmaster to remove their site when they are not available due to seasonal employment..

 Some of the reasons for these price differences are listed below.
Brand Name- Similar items, different label means different recipe or ingredient ratios,  & taste
Vendor Cost- Vendors cannot control the cost of inventory, only their profit. Vendors are charged less for generic brands or simple recipes than high butterfat content items or special copyright products so similar items cost different due to the label and the distributor and the size of the organization controling buying quantity for the vendors. "One" driver, one vehicle vendors usually have the highest product cost/lowest profit margin. Vendors with multiple drivers can sell and buy more and reduce vendor cost.

 Transportation Costs- vary. Gas prices, Mechanic fees, Insurance, maintenance over the years of a route.
 
Competition.  Mobile vendors who are not part of a larger company set their own prices or profit margin. They can sell at cost or triple the cost depending on the demand and the  supply they can provide. For this reason heavily populated areas are more profitable because of more available oportunity for impulse consumers who are novelty shopping rather than bargain shopping
.
Take Over Vendors  -This is why small town business owners don't like Discount Chain Stores.  By lowering prices and profit they entice customer loyalty from mom & pop stores and bankrupt the small vendor who won't be there if the chain changes pricing policy or goes bankrupt itself attempting to woo all the customers, or due to  corporate theft, lawsuits, etc. Because Novelty IceCream Vendors can set their own prices they can play this game to take over the route another vendor established who sustained losses to create demand.  For this reason prices can vary from product to product on mobile routes.
